Design in Wood make imaginatively designed high quality freestanding and fitted furniture. We produce specially commissioned furniture tailored to the requirements of the customer and the situation, and individual pieces for exhibition.

All our work is handmade, primarily from temperate hardwoods, with other materials serving to complement the wood.

Directions to Design in Wood: From Thirsk Market Place go East towards Ripon. At the corner by the cinema turn left onto Chapel Street (signposted to Swimming Pool). We are at the bottom of the street on the corner. If on foot go down any alleyway on the Golden Fleece side of the Market Place and turn left on to Chapel Street.
